Rules
This is a world map of anonymous voices (280 characters, tied to a place). No accounts, no names, no tracking; 18+. By writing a voice you accept these rules.
Zero tolerance
Threats of violence; harassment or abuse aimed at a person; doxxing (publishing someone's personal data); sexual content involving minors; content illegal in the EU; spam floods. Such voices are removed, and their author is blocked from writing: the author tag of the day and the network address behind the voice. Honest, painful and unpopular thoughts stay: this place is for what is hard to say out loud.
How moderation works
A filter refuses threats and doxxing before publication. Every voice carries a report button; reports and notices are read by a human within 24 hours. Reporting a voice hides it for you at once. When a moderator hides a voice, its permalink keeps answering with the reason for removal, and its author is blocked for a day (the author tag of the day and the network address). Readers can also block an author themselves from any of their voices. Authors are anonymous by design, so decisions are published at the voice's own link instead of being sent to anyone.
Privacy
The service stores no accounts, no IP addresses, no author identity beyond a one-day author tag (see the policy), and never reads your location: a voice sits exactly where its author aimed on the map, which is decoupled from where they are. Details: /policy
Child safety
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) has zero tolerance here: any sexual content involving minors, its solicitation, or grooming is hidden immediately on discovery and reported to the competent authorities. Every voice carries an in-app report button, and the notice form below reaches a human directly. Child safety contact: security@talkdot.app
